Mama's First
As a first time mother over the age of 35, I was classified as a "geriatric" mother. I was unsure of how I should navigate these unchartered waters. I had no expectations and took everything as it came including sleepless nights, mood swings, sore nipples and aches and pain from my recovering body. I came up with this idea of creating a postpartum care package for other mothers as a way to help all mamas, but especially first time mamas so that the journey doesn't seem as daunting as it did for me. I thought about what I wanted to use during the first few days after giving birth and dedicated my time to putting items together that aided my recovery, and helped maintain my sanity! These products are of the highest quality, plant based and cruelty free. The skin care products are made with natural coconut oil and cocoa butter from my beautiful home town of Jamaica because I wanted to use products that were also a representation of me. I hope that this labor of love will aid you on your journey and provide moments of comfort when you need it most. Take care of you to take care of them.
